Inspired by District 7570, IMAGINED by the Rotary Club of the Northern Shenandoah Valley & Ignited by Area One, we are inviting Rotarians across the globe to join the #IMAGINE500 Share & Wear Bracelet Initiative.
Rotary International President Jennifer Jones' IMAGINE Impact tour in Uganda inspired our goal of donating $500k+ to PolioPlus in her honor
HOW IT WORKS
1. Buy - $10 donation to PolioPlus for every bracelet sold 2. Share - Tool to educate about Rotary & our fight to end Polio 3. Wear - Constant reminder of your connection to the Rotary family
1. Give President Jennifer Jones a memorable birthday gift on 1/28/23 by donating $500k+ to PolioPlus, showing her what she's inspired Rotarians to IMAGINE! 2. Recruit potential new club members in June with the #IMAGINE500 Share & Wear Initiative, flooding the world with bracelets and stories about what our Rotary clubs IMAGINED and achieved in 2022-23. 3. Celebrate World Polio Year by raising more money and recruiting more members than we could have ever IMAGINED!
These $20 custom "IMAGINE" bracelets are handmade by women in Uganda out of recycled paper beads. $10 from every bracelet purchased will be donated to Rotary International's PolioPlus fund, which is matched 2-1 by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to create a $30 impact.
PLEASE NOTE All orders will be delivered to area representatives at the Rotary International Convention in May 2023 at the "IMAGINE 500" booth at the House of Friendship. Participants who do not have an area representative to pick up their purchases at RI conference will have bracelets mailed to their clubs in June 2023.
